Where’s your cup o’ Joe?

hmorris November 20th, 2009

At some point this summer I became really addicted to coffee. And not the brewing my own pot of coffee and drinking 3 times a day addicted, but actually addicted to finding really good flavored coffee in the area. And then I realized something: I have been to a ton of coffee shops AROUND Princeton but never actually go IN to town.  But regardless, there’s a lot of good coffee in the area. Here are some of my faves:

  • Blawenburg Market, Blawenburg-I enjoy their featured flavor and the owner/staff are so nice.
  • Coffee Buy The Cup, Rocky Hill-$1 coffee of any size and 18 different flavors at a time. A total of 90 possible (reg and decaf) and it’s fun to see what combos will be brewed that day. My fave: Blueberry Creme mixed with French Vanilla (decaf).
  • Main Street Cafe, Kingston-love their Snickerdoodle flavor (great lunch menu too)
  • Grovers Mill Coffee, West Windsor-it’s all about the ambiance here. Design based on The War of the Worlds.  Great place to meet for personal or business.

This summer I was also on a cupcake kick, but I’m trying to curb that habit for a little while.
