Oops! is a bit of an understatement for what happened here!
No, this was not my mishap, but that of a friend who lovingly prepared a wholesome Mexican lasagna for her family with premium ingredients like organic ground chicken (by the way, I’d love to have the recipe, if you can face looking at it again.)
Alas, as she removed it from the oven, the foil pan buckled and the dish headed, er, south. Many tears, a glass of wine, and a call to Mom for comfort later, she recovered enough to laugh at the photo her quick-thinking teenage daughter took. (Children can be so cruel! And I thank you.)
Next time, double pan, okay?
