BIRDS ABOVE THE MISSISSIPPI

Dear NJ WILD readers,

I will be away,

with my sister in Illinois,

floating (in a boat, not a kayak)

on the Mississippi

in key migration time,

in quest of rivers of birds in migration.

You’ll be the first to see my experiences when I return.
